2022-2023 Community Foundation of Carroll County Universal Scholarship Application

Graduating High School Seniors — 2023 Scholarship Season is now open! The Community Foundation of Carroll County supports more than 50 academic, sports, special circumstances, and 4-H scholarships. The common application is an easy way for students to APPLY ONCE and see all the scholarship opportunities they are eligible for (deadline April 15, 2023). 4-H Club Participants – Use the 4-H/FFA Scholarships common application for additional opportunities just for you (deadline July 1, 2023).

Jared Lutz Memorial Scholarship

The purpose of the Jared Lutz Memorial Scholarship is to honor the life of Jared Lutz by providing scholarship(s) for a Liberty High School graduating senior who has shown academic achievement and has participated in the Academy of Health in the Nursing Sciences Program at Carroll County Career and Technology Center. The successful candidate will have been accepted at an accredited College or University. Applications will also be accepted from continuing students, i.e., those already in college from Liberty High School who meet the FUND selection criteria.

Jay A. Graybeal Scholarship

The purpose of the Jay A. Graybeal Scholarship is to provide scholarships to college bound high school students, or students currently enrolled in undergraduate studies or pursuing post-graduate studies in general history or a specialty area of studies in history to include but not limited to; museum studies, archival management, library science, historic preservation, material culture, American Studies, archaeology, anthropology, art or architectural history or preservation technology; or to students pursuing a recognized certification or apprentice program dedicated to traditional arts, industries, trades or crafts.

John & Elsie Bankert Academic Scholarship

The purpose of the John & Elsie Bankert Academic Scholarship is to award a $2,000.00 academic scholarship each year to a current graduate of Westminster High School, who is in the top five percent of the class and who demonstrates high promise in the area of liberal arts.
