A golf tournament to support Pathways to Addiction, a joint venture through Carroll County Drug Court and Rising Above Addiction

The purpose of the Phillip and Norma Hooks Music Lesson Fund is to honor the lives of Phillip and Norma Hooks for a lifetime of devotion to music making by providing the children of Carroll County Maryland with the opportunity to learn and love music. The Fund will provide budding French Horn and Bassoon players in Carroll County with music lessons they might not otherwise be able to afford. The Fund may also provide scholarship(s) for other students in primary and secondary school at the discretion of the Fund Administrators or the Donors.

Project Lather was created from a simple act of compassion and a desire to make a difference. Our mission is to bring comfort, dignity, and care to our community by providing handmade soap and natural laundry powder to those in need. We believe that everyone deserves access to the basics that help them feel clean, confident, and valued. Through generosity, partnership, and kindness, Project Lather works to uplift our neighbors — one thoughtful bar at a time.
We are starting Project Lather with the NESAP Food Pantry in Hampstead, MD, a non-profit organization that assists families in Carroll and parts of Baltimore County, but this initiative has the ability to reach so many more communities as it grows. As the community driven spirit of Project Lather spreads, we foresee including other small-business soap makers in this journey to assist families in their local areas.
